I kinda focused on the mentions of "rock star" in your wishlist, and my brain went to 80s glam-rock. I'm not sure if that's at all what you were looking for, but that's where I went. :) So, I have for you:

--Higher-res retextures of the Maxis sectional sofa from Nightlife, which has always struck me as very 80s. I gave it raw silk upholstery, and I gave the base a wooden texture that tiles properly. The upholstery comes in all 28 of Aelia's Jewel colors (Color swatch here (https://imgur.com/D7gQYXV), and the base comes in my 12 wood colors. Here's a closer-up of its textures:

There is an issue, though. If you use this as a sectional rather than as separated chairs/couches, the corner piece textures like this:

I couldn't fix it without messing up how it looks as separated chairs/couches, so...yeah.

--Retextures of the base game Musee Public vase sculpture thingy. I gave it a rough earthenware texture, and it comes in Aelia's Jewel colors, too. A closer-up:

It was converted from one of the TS3 stuff packs by HCove. I fussed with the texture a bit -- shiny-ing it up a little, darkening down the trim, adding some speckle to the drums -- and then colored it in the Jewel colors. It's a bit on the high-poly side -- about 2.5K -- because of its roundness, but it's fun. Oh! I also edited the shadows in the mesh to remove the groundshadow that didn't make sense, so if you happen to have this item already, you might want to use the edited mesh included instead.

--And finally, just for fun, I retextured and edited the alpha of this hair:

Because it screams "80s hair band" at me. I edited the alpha so that the ends are strandier rather than stringier, and it comes in four colors, with textures painted by me. The colors are based on Io's Isis (Black) and Pooklet's Depth Charge, Incendiary, and Pyrotechnic for brown, blond, and red. I removed the toddler, child, and elder stages because I can't see any of those ages in this hair. It's high-poly, about 16K, but it's kinda fun. Hello beccabear! I'm going to start by saying that your gift to me is absolutely perfect  :) I'm always in the need for more face stuff for my sims so thank you for helping me add some diversity into my game. Also with all the growing families in my game at the moment, I know I will get a lot of use out of that nursery set.

Thank you so much for your gifts, they are lovely <3 Now, onto mine! This isn't everything that I planned- I had a mashup in the works but I didn't feel comfortable gifting it until I've sorted out all of its kinks- but I hope you like what I've made for you.




First up we have some recolours of Veranka's converted Boston Bedroom set (http://veranka-downloads.tumblr.com/post/105699612356/mini-advent-calendar-2014-gift-5-boston-bedroom), in AlfredAskew's woods and Shasta's metals where appropriate. You mentioned that you like Mid-Century Modern furniture styles so as soon as I saw that chair, I knew I had to recolour it for you. The textures are repositoried to the Double Bed and End Table A. You'll want to download Veranka's set above for all of the meshes.


Next we have some more buy mode recolours in Shasta's metals again. I recoloured Veranka's converted Potted Ferns (http://veranka-downloads.tumblr.com/post/53121944032/potted-ferns-download-credits-manuela) and Veranka and TrippingTides' Techtonic Table (http://veranka-downloads.tumblr.com/post/57179833383/tectonic-table-collaboration-with-tripping). I included the meshes for these.

I also noticed that you like Mediterranean influences in your game so I wanted to make some things that would help with Mediterranean architecture. So I've taken some of the textures of iCad's High-Res Paint (http://dramallamadingdang.tumblr.com/post/163394025419/i-kept-going-back-and-forth-about-whether-or-not) and applied them to a bunch of meshes by Windkeeper and SimsZoo (their Miami Set and Mediterranean Arch Set respectively). I only pictured one but there's 10 different arches and windows so you'll have a lot of variety. They come in four neutral tones from iCad's original paint set; Snow, Parchment, Dune, and Banana. Meshes for these are included as per SimsZoo's policy, and also because I don't want to force anyone to go to TSR while the Booty is down.


And lastly we have something special albeit last-minute, since my other gift didn't work out; I modeled you some earrings! I realise that the preview picture isn't great so here's another pic (https://i.imgur.com/N0KqO7C.png). They're available for YAF/AF/EF sims and come in four colours; black, white, gold and silver.

- Brows: four sets of brows in Simgaroop's colours; elders go grey
- Freckles: five layerable freckles, for all ages and both genders, in the costume makeup bin
- Moles: eight layerable face moles, for all ages and both genders, in the blush bin
- Shade and Light: three each of layerable contour and highlight blushes, for all ages and both genders

And on the build / buy side, you said you wanted content for non-adult Sims, and I thought a nursery set might be useful for your legacies. Few people would guess that under Bleach's unnerving name, and high school dropout-ness, and punkish style, lies a deeply spiritual guy with a keen interest in psychology and most acclaimed books on moral philosophy read cover to cover. Bleach says little, spending most of his time either on his gardening gigs or sitting in on open university lectures, but if you can appreciate comfortable silence, there's few less judgmental and more compassionate guys. And no, he doesn't know where that nickname came from either, probably something he did while somewhat baked and hating on capitalism.

I have converted Pyszny's Royal Tonality livingroom set for you. This was my first time making a mirror and I had to go line up the reflection glass a few times before it was right or you'd have had your gift a bit earlier. The fireplace works, too, as seen here (https://imgur.com/MXCEDt6).

Next, I have portraits of Titania and Oberon's  ancestors. They come in sepia as shown above and in color --

To make these portraits, I searched a bit and found extracted sims of their ancestors, ran them through bodyshop, used the dna for them all given at SimsWiki, and gave them the same clothes they were wearing as elders or an adult outfit that came closest. Two of the sims (Pistol and Damon) are extracted from Marka66's The Beginning of Veronaville since Damon was missing and Pistol crashed bodyshop from my other unknown sources. (Long time, no remember.) The portraits are bodyshop shots since I gave each couple a beach lot (they live in a row on a beach) and everytime I tried to get a nicely posed pic on the beach, them darn Sims would twirly into a bathing suit and jump in the ocean. They are happily living on the beach without any romantic beach portraits. I've included a folder in your gift with all twelve ancestors as adults Maxis style. Lastly, these here statues that may or may not help you out with creating faith type themes in your game. They are conversions of LaDesire's conversions from one of their sets.

First up, we have some advertising, all in color. I put these on the Maxis Butterfly Wall Crawler decal from Freetime, mostly because it's shiftable and quarter-tile enabled, which Psychosim's mesh isn't. Or at least the version of Psychosim's mesh that I have isn't; I don't know if it's been updated and I missed it. In any case, if you absolutely need these on Psychosim's mesh, just let me know and I can do that. :) Anyway, here they are:
They are all Victorian-ish (some are Edwardian) and mostly from England, and while I did some restoration of the genuinely older images, I didn't do too much because I figured you'd mostly stick these on outdoor walls. I especially liked the "Seeds" one because of the company name. :) There is a larger version of the above image here (https://imgur.com/4u0tnql), too, to show more detail.

Next, I decided to replace the textures of this ownable/driveable hansom cab, made by Hexameter all the way back in 2006:

I would have liked to have retextured the horse, as well. I was all set to use photos of my own horse to do so because he'd look fabulous pulling that cab, but I just couldn't get it to work with the mapping. :( The mapping defeated some of the texturing I wanted to put on the cab itself, too, but I think in the end it came out at least better-looking than the 2006 textures. :) I also would have liked to have made this a default replacement for the taxi, since most taxis in the Victorian era were black hansom cabs, but....I don't know how to do that. :( If I'd been your regular date, I would've learned, but as it is, I just didn't have the time. If you'd like that done, perhaps you know how to do it yourself? Or perhaps someone else can do it for you?

In any case, this isn't a recolor. Recoloring it only changed parts of the cab, not the whole thing, plus I wanted to change the metal hardware on the yoke/harness to brass to match the brass on the cab, and that's a separate non-recolorable texture. SO! I replaced all the textures in the original mesh file. So, if you already have this object, you'll need to remove it and replace it with this file because I renamed it to reflect the fact that I edited it. I did, however, make all the parts except the metal on the yoke/harness to now "read" off the same texture image -- thanks to a tip from NekoSayuri -- so the file is now half the original size in both file size and texture memory eat-age, and, if you or someone else wants to make recolors, it'll be easier to do so because you'll be able to recolor the whole cab, not just parts of it. I also included in the download the custom sound file for the cab, too. Without it, it'll have car-engine noises. With it, it'll have horse neighing and clip-clopping.

Annnnnnd finally, I made a Victorian-esque default texture replacement for the newspaper. I Googled around a lot to see if one already existed, and I only found medieval-style replacements...but I also suck at Google, so...if you already have such a default, my apologies. But, as I couldn't find a specifically Victorian one out there, I decided to make one, cobbled together from images of Victorian newspapers and black-and-white ads found online. Here's one of its pages:

Well this took a nice, full month longer than it should have. I'm not gonna go into the graphic details of all the evil that has befallen me during this endeavor cause even I am tired of hearing me bitch, but suffice it to say if I touch milkshape again it will be 2 billion years too soon. Starting with the 'cute rando crap' category, we have the stuff above except the bench and the lamp, all the meshes converted from various ts4 packs. The paintings I retextured but also original textures are included cause they were pretty cute. The giant frog was originally a fountain which I attempted to do and man was that a rough afternoon, finally I just took out the water thing from his mouth and called it a day statue. My initial purpose was to make this gift business-focused since you like to play businesses but events transpired and the only thing that remains is these ts4 breakfast paintings for diners etc. I wasn't gonna include them cause they're so rando on their own but maybe you'll find some use for them? Also I spent 20 minutes googling 'breakfast oil paintings' to find that danish and the amount of terribly drawn eggs was just too much to let go to waste.

When I saw 'toddlers and kids' in your wants I thought 'nice, chance to learn something new!'. How naive I was. Turns out the only thing easier about smaller meshes is that they're easier to fuck up, especially if you're a dumbass like yours truly and constantly try to fix things that don't need fixing, breaking everything else in the process. Like I went through 10+ versions of different bone assignments with the first outfit before I realized there was nothing wrong with it because all toddler pants anims look weird in CAS. Good times.

ANYWAY so these are the definition of frankenmeshed, pants and both pairs of shoes are converted from ts4, tops are remapped ts2 meshes smashed together and on top you have the unholy texture offspring of ts2+4. The result is pretty low poly though which was a nice surprise! They're everyday and pj's respectively, all colors for both genders.

Frankenmeshing continues with the kids, but unlike the toddler nightmare these were fun to do after some obligatory disasters in the beginning. I even gave them ~fun~ names after the songs I was listening to, both of which are Fall Out Boy, because for some people 2008 never ended. So here we have Sunshine Riptide and Homesick at Space Camp. Pants and shoes are again converted and shirts are remapped ts2, textures are straight from ts4, has fat morph.

I didn't know what to do with the gender categories in the first one, EA had the floral pants and pink shades for girls only, I wanted them unisex, and if you don't want them it's either clog your catalog or delete the texture for both genders, so I'm just gonna upload two versions and you can pick.
