Geek Chic
 because one day we will all be working for one.

..And for two months you will end up making for your geek sims, and August and September are those months! A small amount voted in the poll but the winner is Geek Chic.

For these two months, everything geek goes. Books, libraries, labs, bunsen burners, big classes.. if its geeky, it belongs here. As usual, make sure your upload abides by the standard forum rules!

Ok so for your geeky sims obsessed with aliens, robots and anything star wars I have some posters for you. I thought this would fit this theme because my definition of a geek is one who's channel never leaves SyFy and likes all that techno mumbo-jumbo.

I really liked this mesh by Sixtyten over at LivingSims but wanted them a bit larger and at different angles. So I just modified her mesh to suit what I wanted.

There are 36 posters in all; 12 on each mesh. There is a straight up and down version, one angled to the left and another angled to the right. Links to previews provided to save from dreaded pic spamage.

There are both package and Sims3Pack in the file.

I got these from various t-shirt sites - Shirt Woot, Tee Fury & Glenz Tees.

I have some more I plan to make a bit grungy at some point. I wanted some quirky clean posters though and thought I might share. Hope this fits the definition of Geek here. I thought this might be too much like the sci-fi theme but what if your geeks like science?

Mmm... geek time. Here's a small contribution I've been working on. This is a new office set comprised of 7 objects; 6 are completely new meshes and the seventh is a simple poster retextured. The set, pictured below, includes two-tier desk with 4 slots added on the top shelf, desk chair, open file cabinet, drawing tablet, dice set, Roleplaying for Dummies book, and one binary poster. The desk, chair, and file cabinet are CAStable. The files once unzipped are in package format. Enjoy!

edited to add my own little contribution to this theme

Basically all my sims indulge in some type of geekiness, and comic books is only one. And sims like people should be able to display whatever they geek out over on their clothes. So here are three comic book themed graphic tees under shirts for teen males. Why teen males? The clothing section for them in my game is just sad.

There are three shirts, The Dark Knight, the Green Lantern logo and the logo for pretty terrible band Sex Bob-omb from Scott Pilgrim. There are three CAST-able parts of each shirt; (1) the collared shirt, (2) the shirt underneath and (3) the design on the shirt. The Dark Knight shirt also comes in two varieties, one with the title written in English, the other in Simlish.

I know it's a couple years late, but thanks a bunch guys!
I can add another cool outfit to my Abed sim, and have a sweet bar for him to go to.

If only I could find some Inspector Space-Time cc for him and Troy.. I've been using Dr Who, and it suffices.. but you kinda need the real thing sometimes. (Though I love the Dr Who cc on an unrelated note)
