Good Genes Challenge: New Gene Pool

I very much enjoy spending a few weekends doing a Good Genes Challenge!!!  (Laundry will get done someday.)  
I couldn't decide between the twins and I was disappointed that Kassie's unique eye shape wasn't inherited by either of them.

And, more of the Fishy family.  I almost got a good shot of Sir Fishington fishing, but even with the street lights, it turned out too dark.  I was running of time this afternoon and the only one I could find was Ella.  Even already knowing her genetics are pretty strong, I was hoping at least for blue eyes.  (Sorry for using her twice, but I wanted to keep the skin color.)  (And, no, I did not realize I'd chosen the exact same lip color for both Captain and Ella.)

The Noodles.  In generation two, Thai had the smallest nose and the most open eyes (...I still have no clue what Pool's eye color is) and the glasses were the best option to avoid me crossing my eyes all the time.  May was a triplet and I wasn't being very creative during the Vikings game (May, Fay and Kay).  Fay inherited grandma's chin and Kay had an errant freckled skin.  So, May won out.  Jerico was quite camera-shy in my game.  And the only pic I had of him was in the background when the triplets were born.

Ho-Ho-Ho! Here comes . . . Angela Angler



I was hoping Enrique's strong features would fill out Angela's.
I was so, so, so wrong . . . I guess he had a weak chin after all.



Next up, a pretty boy for Fae. He ended up being the only pretty one.
That horrid teeth showing in your cheeks mouth appeared to be there to stay.



So, Darla meets, greets, woo-hoos, you know the routine with Perry Weird.
I think I hit the jackpot with him. Look at this middle child:



Meet Iris Angler. Our little beauty. I gave her some gloss and light shadow and
the rest is all the way she spawned.

Mom (Darla) and first born, Heaven, were sent to the Loser's Pool. Seriously .I think it may have been engineered by Brandi Broke.
Perry went back into the wild (townie pool) after his children were grown, Iris and Jeth are enjoying life while they try to land their dream jobs.

Morganess, I love Katherine, so happy you picked her. River looks gorgeous (I had no idea Culbart had alien eyes - I'm glad they endured)
nosferatuman, Beck's beard haha! Donovan staring straight into the camera is intense but maybe he just wants to tell me I have lettuce in my hair

Deatherella, your getting to play Sims and do the challenge with Avy is so sweet! And Jaxon's ears are really cute

I did my second try with Pool Noodle. I didn't even have to pick sims for her, everyone kept offering blind dates to Pool and co.
Egg Noodle and Enrique Ignominia had twins but they looked almost exactly the same, so I just went with the one that didn't have Pool's mouth. Dishonor does look weird when she's not making faces though.

I got some adorable alien twins at the end. It was hard to pick one

I went with Nix for having the better mixture, but Mercury is just as cute, if a little too similar to Venus (and the only boy born through the whole thing!), and got Pool's brown hair

This is an interesting change of pace! I just had to join in.



Pool Noodle and her persistent brow is up first. And I do mean persistent; that thing just kept popping up throughout the generations. Luckily, Bebe helped me out with that in the end, and while I was hoping to keep those pointy ears of hers, Laverne makes up for it by being adorable regardless.

Here's the Kissalot crew.



Culbart married Mama Mayfield in hopes of some pretty babies.
Well, they were pretty babies, but then they aged.



I flipped a coin and Mara got to take a chance at love with Glenn Maurer.
Their spawn looked a little better than Mara and her two sisters. Glenn helped their facial features a bit.



Gilroy hooked up with Claire Schreiber. They had triplets that are rather nice looking  . . .



Cosmo Schreiber is our winner! He and his sisters all look rather similar but he has smaller ears.
His only winning credential. I didn't take a lot of pics of this family when I was playing them other than family portraits
so I have two more shots of Cosmo with his sisters when they were young.

Your Duke looks a lot like my Thorn - Pool's grandson.  With us using totally different sims for the generations.
I'm on the final three and they're so cute I don't want to rush them into adulthood just to finish the challenge.

First time joining in on this and it was so much fun! Trout was the clear winner, and I honestly didn't have much hope that the mouth would ever close. Hard to believe he and Bass are twins!

The Pretty Sims I chose are Aimee Blackwell, Ella Edwards and Curtis Stone










Evie and Curtis had two daughters.





Not easy to choose but I decided on Cookie to showcase for this entry.





Cookie inherited Ella and Evie's Elf Ears.
Unfortunately Candi didn't.
