I don't have a post-apocalyptic game at ALL, however, I do have a 'hood with some filthy poor slums (often full of shady characters). There's plenty of overlap there, I think, and Ja's bedding is dancing around in it. I love the kids' bedding best of all; it's really perfect for a tragic family. (I may have to create one now, I think.)

Ja, I love the beddings. They're perfect for the new house I'm about to make. Smiley

What's the End without a little...
BLOOD, SWEAT AND TEARS

Apologies, to my self sim and Tom.

More Preveiws, on darker skin, and alien eyes follow. To show off my alpha skills. (Except for the sweat, which is on a skin that's a little lighter. Because that's as dark a skin as it can go on. Bleh. Fail.) All hand drawn. Multi-layerable.
Mascara Run, Tears 1, Tears 2, Sweat
Bloody Nose 1, Bloody Nose 2
Bloody Nose, Smeared off, Bloody Spatter
Mascara run with tears and eyeliner (not included), Sweat and Bloody nose detail shot

If Apocalypse was ever going to win, GoS' downtime was the perfect time.
And we've already got some great content! I think this will be a great theme.

Ja Bedding! Cheesy These are great. I love the kids ones most of all, but they're all fantastic!
AlfredAskew Oh, I love those. Perfect for storytelling! The bloody nose ones are so realistic.

Ja:  I have to agree with Hat, there's some AWESOME recolors in there for my peasants!
AlfredAskew: AWESOME!  I like how subtle they are.  Most of the ones I've got are to over the top.
Thank you both!

As many of you out there know, I haven't progressed much further in CC creation than recoloring/texturing and the occasional alpha edit.  So with this in mind, I did the very best I could and I'm quite pleased with the results.  Four once very pretty dresses, which are now full of holes - not to mention filth encrusted and stained with who knows what!  There are even a few buttons that are starting to become discolored... Why super grungy dresses?  Because how long are your clothes really going to stay nice after the world ends?
AF and YAF.  Shows up under everyday and formal.  Mesh is included.

Previews: 1 2 3 4

DOWNLOAD

Credits: Needlecream for the mesh and textures and Pooklet for her Shock Wave color action and the alpha rips.  If I have these credits wrong, please correct me.  I only went from the best of my knowledge on who made the mesh, and I'm not sure who originally created the dress part.  So let me know if I didn't include you and I'll fix these credits up!

Policy: Do what you like, give credit if including it on an uploaded sim, but do not claim these four recolors/retextures as your own creation.  I worked hard to grunge them up this much and it was a first for me.

Thanks also go to:
Bijou Fennell for modelling pea soup.
Lissa Pearce for modelling ex-pink princess.
Natasha Fennell for modelling shock wave.
Beth Love for modelling filthy white.

Note: All models are either made by me or born in my own game.

AlfredAskew ...

Probably needless to say, but I LOVE them!
Goodlooking tears and everything else you put in that upload is hard to come by, and I really needed good tears for the next chapter of my story (well... the next to take pictures for). So yeah...

:inlove:

Nice job with those rips, DeadGirl. I have use for that gray green one in particular. Mostly because I'm a gray green hoarder. ^^

Thanks all! I had noticed a distinct lack of good facial liquids myself. I've always found it odd how I could never find any simple tears. They always look goopy and puss-like.
I'm so glad you all have a use for them too. Because drawing this stuff is like candy to me. Oh man, drawing that blood was so much fun, it's almost embarrassing.

I will be looking out for your next chapter, Raven!

Wonderful work, Alfred, they look so darned realistic!

The dresses look terrific too, CuteLilDeadGirl - really like those rips in them.

Ja, I love the bedding! I too will get lots of use out of it in my slummy district.

Ja, thanks so much, I'm always on the look for more worn beddings! Cheesy

AlfredAskew, nice work!

CuteLilDeadGirl, ripped dresses are great!

Here's my first contribution: A sky for your neighbourhood to set the mood. I took chris997s original deco sky and made it into a hood deco. I also made this a recolor of the original object.
(coffin kicker picture)

It has a red area for grabbing that can be hidden under the smallest maxis stone.

DOWNLOAD APOCALYPTIC SKY
! This object is too big to be seen from a lot even with farest view distance. You need to use chris997s original sky there.

(A normal sky can be found on my livejournal.)
