Whispers was my Santa, and she was awesome! There was a lot of squeeing when I got this :)

Hi Inzey! I'm your Secret CiJ Santa and I was so THRILLED to find out I'd be creating for you. I hope you like what I've made. Please feel free to share or not, as you see fit!

First, to pay homage to your love of all things Owlish, I created a set of wallpapers. I did a mashup of Poppet's beadboard with Shastakiss's moulding. I hope you like the set.
Swatch 1 (http://imgur.com/hDCwlpF)  Swatch 2 (http://imgur.com/FFszI8f)  Swatch 3 (http://imgur.com/qAhQvnj) Swatch 4 (http://imgur.com/0IOYhjB) Swatch 5 (http://imgur.com/X68Hh87) Swatch 6 (http://imgur.com/E3DHmlH)

Next are beddings. Most are owlish, but I wanted to create some that were not as well.

Swatch 1 (http://imgur.com/EN2mhe1)  [http://imgur.com/dHck2JQ]Swatch 2

Also in an owl theme are rugs (plus 3 non-owlish ones to match the bedding).

Swatch (http://imgur.com/zz75eX8) (I forgot to make a swatch for the circle rugs...they look just like the circle bedding).

I recolord MysticRain's pillow with an owl theme for you.

And the last owlish thing I made were pictures (I suggest using BuggyBooz's Feast of Frames, but they aren't required). One set uses "Transcendence" and the other set uses BV Travel Poster.

Swatch for other set (http://imgur.com/1QU3Onk)

I also defaulted a few hairs for you. I wasn't sure which to do, so only chose 4. I tried to keep them close to the real thing, and used your recolors so that they would definitely match your game. :P

In-game shots are below.

1 (http://imgur.com/PRt09k0)  2 (http://imgur.com/nh68kyp)  3 (http://imgur.com/vHKsvzU)  4 (http://imgur.com/lnJ1Seh)

I also recolored some makeup for you. Lilith's Andromeda eyeshadows, Jessi's Just Whispering eyeshadows in two-tone style, Lilith's Archetype lipsticks, and Nabila Bad Medicine lipsticks.

More (http://imgur.com/JRdPVoG)  More (http://imgur.com/p6jvGAA) More (http://imgur.com/6CRUiU2) More (http://imgur.com/6CRUiU2) More (http://imgur.com/NwwHLv5)

And I made 4 lots for you, 3 community and 1 residential. All the lots are CC-free and all but one come on 2x2 lot. The one below comes on a 1x3.

Lot2 (http://imgur.com/ub42c8G)   Lot3 (http://imgur.com/rLcXNhA)  Lot4 (http://imgur.com/JV9Ou8f)

All meshes required are included. I did NOT inclued BuggyBooz's Feast of Frames meshes because you already have them.  Everything is in one zip, but it's all filed separately so you can get rid of anything you don't like.

Now it's time for me to power up my game :)

Hello Chere, your CiJ Secret Santa here!  (Hee hee, that rhymed!) ^_^

I come bearing a few gifts, which I hope you'll find some use for. Let's get straight into it, shall we?

First up is Trapping's EP06 3t2 Casual Pants with Gothplague's Docs in Aelia green. It comes in all the original colours and has both a fat and preg morph. It is available for your teen, young adult, adult and elder males.

Please note: The teen files are slaved to the adult files, which means you MUST have the adult files in your downloads folder for the teen version to work.

Then we have a dress for your ladies! I've popped Shatarja's boots on MDPthatsme's Modern Maid dress. It comes in all the original colours and has both a fat and preg morph. It is available for your teen, young adult and adult females.

Please note: Just like above, the teen files are slaved to the adult files, so make sure you have the adult files in your downloads folder!

The dress makes a lovely outfit for waitresses, especially if you pair it with MDPthatsme's apron accessory (http://mdpthatsme.tumblr.com/post/89776630191/so-just-in-time-to-release-some-gifts-for-you).

My Secret Santa was the amazing Allisas.  She made for me lovely set of supernatural-related things as well as two wooden floors. Yesterday I was looking for a nice fairy wings so it turns out that Allisas has an ability to read minds.  :o

Behold the wondrousness that is my gift from Chris W!

Look how much work has gone that lot - isn't it splendidly dilapidated, with all those wonderful Victorian turrets and windows and other fancy bits?! And bonus grungy stuff to play with too! Thank you, Chris, you really spoilt me. ^_^

Just don't blink, people...

I really had to think what i could make for you.Luckily i had your CiJ Posting as an inspiration.
I really was thrilled to see that you mentioned some lot creators you really like, including me.
So i knew i had to do something realy cool.
I came up with an elegant victorian/georgian rowhouse mansion with lots of room for a big family.
I tried to keep down with Custom Content, but this didn't went very well.So there is some CC included and/or needed. You better check the lot with cleaninstaller to avoid unwanted, missing or double CC
I kept the furnishing of the house to a minimum and only furnished the kitchen and the two bathrooms.
The Mailbox of the house is hidden behind a door in the fake basement. You better move it temporarely to the street or the backyard before moving in sims.If you also remove that pieve of glass fence on the stairway to the roof, your sims can climb up the roof like in the movie "the royal tenenbaums".
Why i mentioned that movie?Well, this lot is actually based on the house that was used for as a location for that movie.
For the interior walls i used default walls from the 2014 Easter Egg Hunt.(The link can be found in the readme)

Now for some pics:

Also included in this gift is a set of recolors

Psychosims Urban Roof

Tarox Half Column (Mesh included)

Basegame Brickfence

Wallpapers.

Yeah,i started only with a few wallpapers i wanted for the exterior walls, but got somehow distracted and spilled out over 70 Brick and Plaster Walls, all in a few states of grunge...

And because everyone hates searching for a certain wall in a overcrowded wall section,i also added a collection file.

Lots of cool presents everyone.
One can never have enough wooden floors and Whispers walls.
Also thanks for the compliments, but i made a tiny little mistake.I forgot to put the lot in the folder that`s up for download.
I stored it in another place than the actual CiJ folder because i sorted out unnessesary reolors and forgot to include it again.CuriousB already got a message so she can add the Link to her posting.
I`m really sorry for the mistake,i was kind of in a hurry,so...whoops. Sorry :-[

Post by: shadowfell on July 27, 2014, 08:32:47 PM
Oh. My. God.  You guys, this present is amazing.

Saricoya was my Secret Santa, and I am the extremely happy recipient of a massive overload of beautiful things - PLUS two huge collections of raw textures from both Dishonored and Thief.  There's build stuff, there's Nooks and Niches stuff, there's really awesome signs and statuary - it's all so lovely and beautiful.  Warden Narrows is getting serious upgrades very soon.

Hiya Shadowfell!
As you can prolly tell I was chosen to be your Santa this time around. Let me  tell you the minute I saw Thief and Dishonored I got super excited. First because that's one kickass game theme, and second because it just so happens I have both of those games...

Can you guess where this is going? I'd never tried extracting game textures before, but I figured it couldn't be that hard, and I knew that was something you really wanted. Well I was totally wrong about the easy part, but I can be stupidly tenacious. Especially when it comes to gifts. So you can totally have all the things!   :D
I've dug out every bit of texture I could find in both games and all their DLCs.

~These are pretty raw, and completely unorganized. *sorry*
~Both have been cleaned of superfluous recolors, light maps, (most) UI stuffs and the like.
~Everything has been converted to PNG because I figured that was the most universal/useful.
~The Dishonored folder is HUGE. Like 1.5 gigs compressed.
~The Thief folder has 2, and sometimes 3 versions of the same texture, I play with John P's high def textures so you got those too. The original's will all say *overridden* in the file names.

Dishonored (http://www.mediafire.com/download/bz9jenfljdpombk/DishonoredPNGs.zip)

Thief3 (https://www.mediafire.com/?tj6p7bi5s78mdee)

So there's those.

But that didn't really feel like a present somehow, I mean I'm all for immediate gratification, and I had all those pretty textures. *and this is when I got a little carried away*  So I made you some stuffs.

Dishonorable Thievery; a bunch of things stolen from people who stole them from games using textures I stole from, well, you know.

Build Stuff (http://www.mediafire.com/download/7guiyvrnvh66zu8/Sari-DTBBNiches.zip) - 50 walls, (25 of which have matching BB Nook textures) 25 Floors. 15 Terrains. (Alt) (https://app.box.com/s/sxx2rvdequrpxabxt72w)

*shown with MsBarrows' Completer set - included for convenience*

15 Signs (http://www.mediafire.com/download/fscn8ts18cabsya/Sari-DTHotelSignsBV.zip) on BV's Hotel Sign (Alt) (https://app.box.com/s/nf1290g68wbmu793lbhl)
*Text ones are only usable from one side since mapping.. but I wanted them.. for reasons.*

Prostitute Bedding (http://www.mediafire.com/download/h3xsad8bx8rav2t/Sari-DTBedding.zip) + 4 recolors (Alt) (https://app.box.com/s/llw21fpuap3zgnb9rd53)

And 8 Statues (http://www.mediafire.com/download/m47i4vhincpmp87/Sari-DTStatues.zip) in 7 colors. (Alt) (https://app.box.com/s/pkbktpycejplo226julx) From Hafi, Raynuss, Lama/Eva, & Evanesco with many thanks.

Notes and Junk;

~My previews are rubbish. And definitely do not show everything.
~Its a grab bag of straight textures, altered ones (usually to make tileable) and ones I frankensteined together from bits and bobs of other things.
~Everything is compressed
~Previews are inlcuded
~All meshes are included *Except* BB's.
(there are a billion things slaved to them now, and I kind of assume everyone has them already.)
~Everything is named numerically and no names contain spaces or the like.
~I didn't make swatches because I figure you know what things look like mostly.
*And I'm a terrible person* Clean installer is your friend I guess.
~The two based statues have linked recolors. (I couldn't imagine why you wouldn't want both when they match.)

This stuff is yours. You can absolutely share, dissemble, set on fire, or whatever else you like with any of it. I don't have much of a policy to begin with and I pretty much just ripped off textures. *honestly hoping you share the textures because the more people who have access the more pretty things will be floating around  ;D*

If I've managed to botch up anything please let me know so I can fix it for you ^^

I really hope you enjoy them, and Happy CiJ!  :)

Thank you so much, Saricoya!

Thank you to all the Santas who shared their gifts, and congratulations everyone on getting awesome presents!

I got SevenSkellington as my Santee and I can't believe it! She made some awesome age conversions that I can't wait to use. I love kids clothes and I love supernaturals and look what happened. :D

First off, you said you'd like any clothing for the neglected ages/genders, so I converted this GLS outfit for toddlers and children.

The CU version comes with a custom version and a pinned/repositoried version that requires GLS.

I also converted a few things for the little supernatural sims as well:

It's pinned to AL, but not repositoried so nothing is required. (You can find the hats here (http://downloadsbyskell.tumblr.com/post/83954008751/whattheskell-heres-some-repositoried-things) and here (http://thebigtradeoff.livejournal.com/32512.html?thread=807424#t807424))

And for the android love, I converted the servo and Chazzay's simbot for children:

These are just clothing which require invisible skin and eyes, which I've included along with the bodyshop packages so you can just put them right into your game. (don't be alarmed at weird fleshcolored pigtails in the custom bin, those are the invisible hair) There are some mods and cheats out there which can let you turn off aging, or you could let the robot kids age up into normal invisible sims.

OFB is required for the servos because there's some repositorying in the files so they didn't get too bloated. I used my eye textures to allow for more colors and so that they could have bows without lipstick. Since they didn't have the orb, I put a plumbob in there instead so their torsos wouldn't just be floating there. I also pinned them to OFB so you won't have to scroll past them while dressing your human kids.

DOWNLOAD (http://www.mediafire.com/download/wgc9tuk56b9gg4k/SKELL-CiJ2014-Rockethorse.rar) (mirror (https://www.dropbox.com/s/6kdasde1opm6tou/SKELL-CiJ2014-Rockethorse.rar))

I immediately need to start baking up some babies in my town. Also robot babies. Post-haste.

I'm away from my computer, so I didn't get to properly go through the thread and look at all the stuff, but from what I have seen it all looks wonderful, and i'm happy to have taken part.
My santa was the wonderful, amazingly talented MissTiikeri, who gifted me like the best things ever. I'm already a massive fan of her work, and the things she made me are absolutely perfect for my game. I haven't had a chance to download and play with any of it yet, and I'm itching to get home and get my hands on the goodies. I'm sharing it right away, because, seriously, keeping that stuff from people for another few days feels like a crime.

Surprise! I was your secret santa this lovely(and by lovely i mean insanely warm) july and I come bearing some goodies for you. Hope you can find some use out of the things I managed to finish for you! As usual I had planned to do way more than what I could finish...

The download contains 5 recolours of an AF hair by Alesso(credit to Mel) and 5 AM hairs on a f2m Peggy hair by Yuxi. The colours are a bit random and hopefully they fit your colour scheme! Then there is 5 scars, found under full face makeup, 2 AM skirt with textures taken from a AF one by Alex_manuel and last but not least 8 recolours of an AM shirt that I converted from TS3, original mesh and base texture by Simsimi. Everything is included in the .rar and I have numbered it after the included swatches.

Download (http://www.mediafire.com/download/2djjndq42dtmmde/-MissTiikeri-+Happy+Christmas+In+July+Clone!.rar)

And of course it is yours to share if you want to, feel free to use my links and images. Happy Christmas In July and here's to a continued good summer!

I had the amazing SerenityFall! She converted some gorgeous things for my medieval game!!  :cheer:

Hello to you, NathanialRoyale! Happy Summer Holidays and a special Christmas for you~

Elegant Teardrop Maang Tikka (sans Jewelry) (http://www.mediafire.com/download/kvzdma6vxd5r1ka/Mel-3t2ElegantTeardropMaang.rar) || Fairy Long Braid (http://www.mediafire.com/download/b5per6cng83zw1a/Mel-3t2EP7FairyLongBraid.rar)

First up I have two hairs that hopefully fit in a medieval/fantasy setting. One female hair and one male hair; both hairs work for all ages and come in pooklet v2 textures and all her natural colours (plus Io's). The female hair is from the India Inspired set, minus the jewelry bits (which are alpha-editable, in case you want to make a more time-period appropriate headpiece). The fairy long braid is from the supernatural pack and has slight animations :)

Dragon Valley Medieval Shoulder Armor (http://www.mediafire.com/download/xrriu5cng8nnqs3/Mel-3t2MedievalShoulderArmor.rar)

Next is a conversion of a top from the Dragon Valley world pack; there are five colours, and works through kids-adults. The files are not repository, though, so you can have one age group by itself. I did my best to make the bones look right around the shoulder armor, but they still might be a bit funky >_< Sorry about that!

Celtice Simple Dress (http://www.mediafire.com/download/nn4bqw449wkl52v/Mel-3t2CelticSimpleDress.rar)

Another clothing piece from Dragon Valley; the Celtic Simple Dress with Amaryll's flats for teens and adults. There are four colours and the mesh has all morphs. I know the bottom of the dress looks funky in the preview, but I have fixed the bones so it shouldn't be doing that! (However, there will be clipping when the sims walk - I couldn't fix that >_< sorry!)

Rough Writer (http://www.mediafire.com/download/vq2ekwc3t8iw4he/Mel-3t2RoughWriter.rar) || Vest and Goggles (http://www.mediafire.com/download/3k573w39bwcw24u/Mel-3t2VestAndGoggles.rar)

Moving on to something a little more steampunk - a full body that works for child-elders and comes in three colours. The boots were ripped off from one of ja-viera's outfits. The top works for child-adults and also has three colours. Both meshes should have appropriate morphs.

Straight Shooter (http://www.mediafire.com/download/cbh25ta7a2837ir/Mel-3t2StraightShooter.rar)

A female full body outfit, works for child-elders and comes in four different colours. The shoes again also ripped off an outfit by ja-viera. Has appropriate morphs for each age group.

Long Female Skirt w/Flats (http://www.mediafire.com/download/hrcq6q6f1391irr/Mel-LongSkirtFlats.rar)

And last, but not least - a floor-length skirt for child-elders for your lovely females. There's only three colours and I'm sorry if the textures are poop; textures are not my strong point but I hope you find them useful! Has the appropriate morphs and using Amaryll's flats.

Download Everything! (http://www.mediafire.com/download/czfv7bce9x47ovb/CiJ_Gift_for_NathanialRoyale.rar) - All clothing files have a swatch inside labeling what is what!

Sneaking on in the midst of moving madness to post my gift from NathanialRoyale  ^_^

Happy Christmas in July!  ^_^

I read that you liked Alfred's makeup, so I did some natural lips in select trappings skintone palette for you.

Period games always need more undies and sleepwear, and I tend to find that people make clothes for the nobility more then the common folk.

So here is some simple shifts in natural and dyed colors for adult women.

Recolors of the Kitchen and Bath period stove in shastakiss' metals.

A timber framing seamless wallset in 3 parts.

They can be mix and matched between the pieces.

Lastly, the temple wood floor from Whiterun, Skyrim.

These were done in a few select shades.

I hope you like your gift (or at least part of it  :P ) and if you would like to share you definitely can!

Thanks so much to my Santa for all the hard work and lovely creations, as well as the mods for putting this on!

Comes in six gradient colors and the mesh is the base game maxis mesh

And now, some salt and peppered hair for your ladies

So these hairs come in all ages besides elder (which upsets me but if someone wants to convert them that would be amazing!), Adults are the only age group that have the grey roots (i figured it would be silly to have a greying toddler :P ) Binned accordingly and the mesh is included! Credits to Remi for the texture and Cazy for the mesh.

Finally, a Tiffany blue living room set

Included in this set is the rug (a recolor of isotopia Rug by Modulin from Free Time), The end table (maxis mesh, base game perhaps?) and the couch and chair come white with blue pillows and blue with white pillows. You can mix it up so the bottom cushion is white and the top back cushion is blue or vice versa.

All the gifts are in one folder but in separate packages, and everything has a descriptive title so you know what's what. I had a great time creating for you and I really hope you enjoy your gifts!

I received my gifts a couple of days ago, but I've been super busy at work and so I'm only just now sharing them.

Thank you so much Chere I absolutely love them! And I don't mind the fact that you threw in an extra adult outfit because I can definitely find a use for it!

Hello Harb, time for gifts!

Your wishlist was fantastic and I really enjoyed making these gifts for you.

Here we have two TSM conversions. This is the first time I attempt to do something like this, so if you notice anything wrong, please let me know.

This dress for your ladies is enabled from elder to child female. I know you asked only for teen and child medieval clothes, but I thought that, since I had to make the adult clothes to convert them to other ages, you would like it too.
For the adult and teen mesh I used Bloom's pushup bra (http://www.insimenator.org/index.php/topic,87395.0.html). All of them have fat morph, while adults have also preg morph.

Another TSM conversion, again enabled from elder to child male. Fat morph for all of them.

Then, I've made for you a teen recolor and a child conversion of one of the TSM clothes already converted by Cynnix (http://www.medievalsims.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=59615#p59615). They come in three colors. The child mesh is also enabled for female. The teen mesh is included.

To finish, here a children posebox. Sorry for the amount of pics...

I hope this was more or less what you expected.
I drew inspiration from TS3 Generations for almost all the poses. Besides the static poses, for some of them I've added arms overlay, so you can make your sims walk or move their back while their arms are in pose.
You can find the posebox in Hobby, Misc. It's also enabled for community lot.
Note: The Bedtime Story pose requires the book accessory by Ang (http://simscave.mustbedestroyed.org//index.php?topic=14439.0). I've made a recolor of the book, because I find that the original one isn't very suitable for this. They are all included.

Hope you'll find these gifts useful, and let me know if there are any problem. Happy CiJ!

My CiJ Santa was Harb and I absolutely love what has been delivered to my inbox! It's a small gift, but I reckon the best gifts comes in small packages!  :) And Harb obviously knows me very well, because these paintings are perfect for my game!  ^_^

Hey Reira!

Your definitely one of my favourite simblrs so this was quite a daunting first CiJ! I was a bit rushed for time because as it turns out my holiday was cut short and I had to head back into work, so I hope it's still a good gift.

This is literally the second piece of custom content I've ever made, so if anything is wrong let me know and I'll try to remedy that. So you mentioned that you wanted some recolours of threadandsandpaper's 'It Will Last Longer' paintings and I went ahead and created some Maxis premade family portraits for you!

There are two sets of portraits for each of the timelines covered by the series. So two families per game, The Sims 1, 2 & 3 respectively.

This recolour set features all of the initial major players in the Goth Family Tree upon booting up The Sims 2 base game, I was also going to do more of the premade famalies like Tricou/Curious but alas I ran out of time.

And of course you can download them here! (http://www.mediafire.com/download/vh11rwsq9ttwvr6/CiJPaintings.rar)

The meshes aren't included, so you will have to download them here (http://threadandsandpaper.dreamwidth.org/1871.html).

I could just stare at these all day.

I was spoilt by moxxa this year! The present was far beyond my expectations! I really love it, it's such a beautiful work. And I'm glad that I can share it with all of you!

Hi, Laaneral, it is I - your secret santa!

First of all let me say I am sorry - when I saw your wishlist filled with CAS stuff, I got nervous because I only do Buy stuff. But, when I saw clutter on your wishlist, I was relieved.

So, here is my present to you, I really hope you will like it...

First, we have vases and plants converted from Mutske Aria collection.
There are 10 meshes here, along with their original recolors.

Next, here is some kitchen clutter originally by Sim_man123 - cup holder and two sets of bowls along with the original recolors.

Baufive clutter includes 4 different books, two cups and a bowl. There is also 2 versions of pyszny16 Teddy Bear, the original, and I made a smaller add-on.

And, lastly, we have a big kitchen clutter set originally by Buffsumm - Mirona Kitchen. That set includes 16 different meshes - cups, plates, kettles, pots - all with the original recolors. In the pic you can also see Cake Pans converted from Simcredible and The Box from eryt96. The open version is the original, the closed one is my add-on.

My Santa was the tremendously talented and stupendously sweet Shastakiss! I love my goodies to bits! I've been a bit pressed for time lately, so I've kept these to myself much, much too long. I mean, would you look at the houses? I love the one click level foundations. And the shower curtains! And the closet recolors are my favorite. The lamp shades and vases are almost too perfect, and everything is just so wonderful and thoughtful. I really could go on and on about this, but I'll summarize by saying I was truly spoiled! Shasta is a superb Santa!  :superhug:

untidyfan, I'm so in love with your gift!! IKEA!!!

My secret santa was..Eltaninz! I was spoiled rotten and everything is amazing! This is the best gift ever aaaah thank you so much TT__TT

Hiya Nyren, Merry Christmas in July!  I'm so excited to reveal that I'm your Secret Santa for this year!  Are you excited too?  I sure hope so!  ^_^

I've had so much fun making your gift this time around (creating for you has been like creating for an extension of myself, we like so many of the same things! lol) so I really, really, REALLY hope you like your present.

.: GIFTS :.

First up I have a little makeup set for aliens.  Included are a set of cosmic coloured blushes with speckles:

...and a set of pastel lizard lips to go with whichever alien skins you fancy (they look especially great with the original maxis mint):

Next some detail makeup for your mechanical companions, because robots need some distinguishing facial markings too!  Included in this set are 5 databoard birthmarks:

...and three screwhead beauty marks, for those glamourous robots in your life:

Credits: EA/Maxis, Arnica for original TS3 birthmarks.

Finally onto some clothing!  When I read "graphic t-shirts" off your list of likes, I swear my eyes immediately lit up.  I love graphic tees and I had so much fun making simlish prints for them!...so much fun in fact that I forgot to actually mesh the shirts themselves.  Oops.  Luckily I remembered to finish that off in time, lol :P

First I made a cropped version of the Hankerchief Hem Shirt that Trapping converted a while back.  This one comes in 5 graphic designs, check the swatch for the designs and translations:

Download Stop Cropping Me (http://www.mediafire.com/download/9w7g9d9z78yktjc/%5BEltanin%5DStop+Cropping+Me.rar)

Next I made a more modest style of t-shirt, one with an undershirt and no peeping belly button, lol.  This one comes in 6 graphic designs, check the swatch for the designs and translations:

And finally to go with your new graphic tees, I recoloured a set of shorts by Geirrendour, adding knee socks and lace to the side hems.  These come in 7 different sneaker colour variations:

Welp, that's it!  I hope you enjoy everything and please feel free to share!  Oh, and if you want to download all the things at once, I've also uploaded your whole gift HERE (http://www.mediafire.com/download/xyymxkoxpiundij/CIJ+2014+Gift+for+Nyren.rar).

- Eltanin :heartburp:

Yooo just look at those shorts and makeups!! Everything is so cool ^q^

I'm also amazed at the other gifts. My Downloads folder is groaning in anticipation, but I am definitely going to go through and download pretty much everything now that my own gift is finished.

Thanks to everyone who contributed and shared and the organizers of the event. I had so much fun doing this.

Happy Cristmas in July, Eltaninz!

And now I share my bundle of awesome with the rest! :D

Happy Christmas in July!

I hope you like some of the things I've made for you. I took a lot of Victorian lit in college, so I had a lot of fun with your gifts. I've also developed a strange craving to reread Trollope, Hardy, Wilde and other late Victorian faves.

The first thing under the July Christmas tree is some refinished/ reupholstered furniture.

You said you like Adele and like areas other than Britain, so I thought you might appreciate some retextures of her Moroccan dining set.

I've always loved this set but rarely used it because it was so shiny. These retextures have had been edited to be only as shiny as if they had been given a coat of wax rather than lit from within.  The credenza also got an inlaid wood makeover based on an antique I saw in an old Victorian house a few weeks ago.

The base wood is by Goat, the inlay is based on some photos and the colors are Pooklet's naturals (l included all for completeness- labeled so you can trash the ones you don't want).

The fabric is made up of patterns from Colourlovers or vintage fabrics with a subtle velvet overlay. There is some stretching on the seat fronts with some of the busier prints, but it didn't bother me in game.  I just wanted you to be aware.

Here's a labeled swatch (also included) for easy curating:

Next, we have the kind of presents kids often hate but I'm hoping someone running a period game might like. Yup. I made clothes (based on stalking your Tumblr/ LJ for ideas)

First, here's a conversion of Crab of Doom's breakdancer mesh to child with textures by Waxesnostalgic and Nemesis.

Then, I have a completer set of conversions of the longjohns done by Veranka and Fakepeeps. They work for child through elder. I also added preg morphs to Veranka's TF and AF meshes. and did some basic period-appropriatish textures. All textures are repositoried to adult male ones.

You should remove Veranka's meshes from your downloads before using my pregmorph edits since they will conflict. The only mesh not included is the one by Fakepeeps. Per her terms of use, get it here (http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=527167)

Finally, we have my attempt at making frock-like suits from Rented Space's 3t2 suit conversion. I had to edit the mesh a little because the original (meshed-on) tie was really skinny and modern. Textures are a mashup of the originals, hand painting, fabric and some textures from a tie from an outfit by Yuxi. These are for teen through elder. Teen and elder textures are linked to the adult ones.

Everything has been put through basic testing, but please let me know if something looks/ acts wonky or if I broke something. and I'll try to get it fixed for you.

Okay, that ends my babbling.

Previews and all but the FP meshes should be included. Please feel free to share, trash or pull apart for fun.

Download (https://www.dropbox.com/s/ktg7i06pqt4dv9j/kalynn_CIJ_for_theChangeling.zip)

Thanks again, kalynn! I'm still completely over the moon about it being YOU as my Santa, as well as all of the wonderful things that I'm going to go spread around the rest of the net! Best. Christmas. Ever. <3

My Santee is on vacation so I'm sharing my gift

Hi

It's your secret santa here!

I'm bringing you a mix of things for your game. You said you liked community lots, so let's start with that.

First is Arianta Resort, a 2x2 luxury beach resort.

(https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/f042/zsp8f3bzbc924cy4g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/view/zsp8f3bzbc924cy/AriantaResort_preview.jpg)

There are four large hotel suites, onsite five star restaurant,  highly ranked spa and the standard gift shop, bar and dance club.

(https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/8300/3frfpny4obfu4n24g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/view/3frfpny4obfu4n2/AriantaResort_(14).jpg)

Next is a Museum of Natural Science and History for your nature loving sims and history buffs.

(https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/d688/dj8nu8hdciwdhg94g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/view/dj8nu8hdciwdhg9/MusuemofNaturalScienceandHistory_preview.jpg)

There's a working restoration lab that visitors can observe scientists at work, ever-changing exhibits and a small aquarium.

(http://www.mediafire.com/convkey/c649/vk6a6wmjayzh6744g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/view/vk6a6wmjayzh674/MusuemofNaturalScienceandHistory%20(7).jpg)

The last lot I'm sharing is the Trading Post for your BACC challenge.

(https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/8eda/3pe3r3ydc586ru44g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/view/3pe3r3ydc586ru4/TradingPost_preview.jpg)

Your sims will need a place to start trading those home-grown produce and other goods.

Your wish list included rug recolors, so I bring you 20 recolors of the GL rug

(https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/7ab3/r0u5k3lr33nczbb4g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/view/r0u5k3lr33nczbb/GL_Rug_preview-final.jpg)

You said that you like IKEA, so I bring you two sets of "IKEA hacks" using two design trends: gold and the color of the year, radiant orchid.

(https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/cb43/bdq29szdi6ycdsc4g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/view/bdq29szdi6ycdsc/IKEA_GoldLuxe-preview.jpg)

Gold Luxe has 9 items for your sims

(https://www.mediafire.com/convkey/c7dc/9g4nzbuu3jq21b74g.jpg) (http://www.mediafire.com/view/9g4nzbuu3jq21b7/IKEA_RadiantOrchid-preview.jpg)

and Radiant Orchid has 10 items for your sims

You can download all or parts of your gift https://www.mediafire.com/folder/42fzrelzmai4r/CiJ_2014_Allisas (https://www.mediafire.com/folder/42fzrelzmai4r/CiJ_2014_Allisas)!

I tried to be CC moderate with the lots, but some have a lot of CC, so you can toss out what you don't want. Also, there are more preview photos and layouts of the buildings in the folder as well and yes, you can share.

I hope you enjoy everything.

My santee was the generous and amazing Deatherella! and i was spoiled completely rotten with sci fi themed goodies, walls and some amazing paintings!

Hi, slothysims, I'm your Secret Santa this year. You stated you favored playing in Strangetown so I tried to come up with some new twists.

(https://i.imgur.com/qnHMG0T.png) (http://s327.photobucket.com/user/deatherella/media/GoS%20CiJ%202014/Deatherella_HeavyMetalPromo_zps14ca0dcc.png.html)
For starters, here's "Heavy Metal" --  three different metal versions of Sherahbim's SteamBot sets. I've made you three skintones to help enhance the science fiction flair of Strangetown.
each skintone has matching neck masks and the basic adult clothing. The pic above showing the Steel version, was taken with the two Sims wearing the clothing.  All the pics of the skins are shown with them wearing the neck mask.

The Steel skintones.

And a closer detail and a shot with the baby.

Family groupiing of the Gold skintone. The boy and girl children and toddlers look basically the same. The girl is wearing a hat since I apparently have no bald children hairs in my game at the moment and didn't know that until I went to find some. All these pics were taken with all the Sims wearing nude clothing so that you could see the skin better. Since there are no clothing sets for anyone other than the adult male or female, everyone else will have to wear regular clothing.

Third and final skintone set are the Copper Patina.
Also, included is a set of eyes I made for using with the robot skins. These eyes will only look well with non-human skintones. The SIMS modeling these skintones have metal eyebrows from Sherahbim's robot parts set.

More previews in this album (https://imgur.com/a/EwN3V)

Next is a set of six terrain paints using various moon crater textures.
A Look-See and Swatch:

You mentioned liking patterned wallpapers so I made up a set of for you. Each texture has one version with Shastakiss' wood moulding trim and one version with no trim. They're all in neutral tones that ought to make a nice backdrop for any bright colored furnishings you have. Here's a swatch of them all:

Since you like bright colors, I made a batch of paintings using bright colors. Sand Dogs is a set of recolors for the Two Dogs and an Olive painting. There are six recolors in "Splash" from  sims2play's #17 and #23. The two necessary meshes are included in case you don't already have them. I thought pretty much all of the paintings I used would look good with any modernistic furnishings you've used in your Strangetown buildings.

I ran all the files thru The Compressorizor. Most of the textures used in these sets were made with Filter Forge, a few are from cg-textures and a couple-few are from Google Search. All the pics are included along with some swatches I didn't put online.

I hope you enjoy your gifts as much as I enjoyed making them.

Happy Christmas in July!!!!

Deatherella.

I'm always amazed at the sheer amount of awesome that appears in these threads. Well done, everyone!

And now its my turn to add to the pretty. I was super spoiled this year. Not only did I get a crazy talented santa, who made me a buttload of awesome things, but I got the honor of having a fantastic elf to assist on some of them. You can't get luckier than that, really.  :-[ I'm hoping its ok with both of them to share since I couldn't possibly keep these to myself.

Helloooooooo! Forgive me for the wait! You see, I have this condition called perfectionitis, and one of the side effects is never knowing when to stop. So, without further ado, le gift!

When I think dark and worn, I always think of Aviolina's Silent Hill sets. You mentioned clutter of all kinds, which led me to go a little crazy in regards to her conversions. And, well, 43 meshes later...

The skeleton was cloned from HugeLunatic's Skeleton Endowment (http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=495244), so it functions like a mirror. Maron's bible was given the custom animations from this upload (http://www.affinitysims.com/IPB/files/file/182-jesus-statue-remastered-custom-animations-custom-mesh/), thanks to Mustluvcatz's extremely generous skills. Most of the credit goes to her for this! I edited the text to reflect a more general form of worship rather than just religious in nature. That can sort of mean to be supernatural, yes? The candlestick is an actual candle.

The candelabra is functional, and the shelf has three slots. Again, thanks for that goes to Mustluvcatz! My package will overwrite the package that came with Aviolina's Silent Hill School set. The books function as a bookcase, but they are not recolorable. I'm still trying to fix this, but it's a process. Everything else is purely decorative but should be recolorable. The desk in the preview comes from one of Aviolina's sets.

The books 02, books & photo frame, and cabinet meshes all function as bookcases. Basically, I ripped out all of the clutter from one of Aviolina's meshes and made it more versatile. Mustluvcatz did the slots for the cabinet again. She really deserves much in the way of undying gratitude. Everything else is decorative and mostly listed under the Appliances > Refrigerators category.

The podium was cloned from Lidiqnata's Summon Satan upload. (http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=467229) Again, I edited the text to make the animations work for a more general theme. The fire will still appear for adults with the children still summoning faeries. Mustluvcatz did more slots here! The podium pillow is a separate object. The books function like a bookcase. The vase and open book are decorative objects. The lamp in the preview is by Hriveresse at PBK.

Did I mention clutter? Everything here is decorative. A few things aren't pictured in any of the other previews, but it's the 30th where I'm at and I didn't want you to have to wait any longer! Nearly all that's included could have been slaved to a few objects, but I didn't want to make it so you'd have to keep something you didn't care for. Other than that, the table in the preview is by Maron.

Compressed with a collection file included. Enjoy. <3

So. Much. Awesome. Guys! Thank you again, thechangling and Mustluvcatz, I can't even begin to express properly how much I love all the beautiful things.

Oh everyone's gifts are so fantastic! August is my Official-Downloads-Folder-Cleaning-Out-Month but that was a terrible plan, wasn't it?

Chris W. I'm all to pieces that you're interested in the little decks, I wrote a little how-to yesterday (http://shastakiss.livejournal.com/24987.html) and I'm already looking forward to you figuring out the rest of Grid Adjuster in like half an hour okay yes please  :)

Is it wrong that I love being called an elf? :D Helping thechangeling with those few little things was my pleasure and it's neat seeing exactly why I was doing what I was doing!

I've put myself on a no-downloading restriction until I get stuff I've been working on done, otherwise I get distracted and do nothing. But I'll definitely be back to raid this thread sometime soon!

Eeeeeeeee, guys! My Santa was the wonderful, amazing CuriousB and she made some very awesome lovelies~

Edit: CuriousB just let me know that these were made in mind that I have all EPs/SPs - so these are not base game compatible. Just a heads up :)

Hi!

Erm, yes, well... I am actually your errant Santa!

I'm so sorry for the delay, and for the lack of fancy previews, but I wanted to make the actual gift as good as possible and needed to sneak a bit of extra time to get it just right. :-[

Two things jumped out at me from your list of likes: bathroom stuff and TS3>TS2 conversions. So, I really hope you'll like my conversion of Awesims' 'Mid Mod' bathroom, and all the recolours I couldn't resist making. :D

The sink, shower, mirror and wall sconce come in a selection of the basic colours; some of the showers are tiled.

A selection of the patterns is used for each of the shower curtains, bathmat and towels.

There's also a bonus matching floor tile, and two wall tiles (in the preview).

Just one note: the shower curtains are deco objects and not part of the shower itself, so there is some clipping as Sims get in and out of the shower. Apart from that, everything should work as expected.

DOWNLOAD! (http://bit.ly/1xLYNuh)

I have to rush off now I'm afraid, but if you have any problems at all, then please let me know. Oh, and of course feel free to share:)

All the best!

CuriousB

Of course I can't keep such a wonderful gift to myself~ Now then, I'm gonna go put these in every house I have <3

My CiJ Santa was the oooh so sweet and lovely Lilyth! She gave me some of my favorite goodies and could NOT be more happppppy!  :cheer:

Hi Whispers! Guess who's your santa again? Yap, you guessed, you're stuck with me for another year  ;D
I have NOOO problems being stuck with my CiJ Santa! :D

So I've made you:

- A sim, her name is Hannah Whispers.
- Recolors of Trapping's Newsea Sunshine flower Accessory (white, pink, orange and blue).
- A hair retexture  of Newsea Joanna with my edit of Remi's BG texture. It comes in 4 of Pooklet's colors, it's binned and familied and grey is linked to black.

The meshes are included.

- A set of Ga-laxy eyebrows in 4 of Pooklet's naturals with maxis-match textures.
- A set of 12 recolors of TeaGreen's Lipgloss.
- A nosemask in 10 of Trapping's colors. That's actually Cara Delevingne's nose that I took from a picture and edited. The alpha is by Simtzu.

I really hope you like what I've made for you!

:wah: I found out today that large dogs can't use the little one-click tall decks in the tiny houses from untidyfan's gift, although they're fine for cats and small dogs. I'll see if I can figure out a solution but I'm very sorry in the meantime.

edit much later: HugeLunatic has some new non-animated modular steps (http://sims2artists.com/index.php?topic=4558.0) that work for large dogs on little decks  :D

My Santa was the super tallented Rocket Horse! I really love the gifts they made me, so I had to share with all of you  ^_^

But! Here are your presents!

Adults (Maxis Mesh) (http://i.imgur.com/mc1R32J.png) | Adults (Custom Mesh) (http://i.imgur.com/bDoI9J7.png)

A few floral crop tops, in 3 different styles. One for teens on a Maxis mesh, and another for adults on a Maxis mesh. (The adult version is not very crop-py, but it does show off the belly button at least. ;)) The third version is on a custom mesh by Catherine, which is included. Very cropped and puffy as well!
They all have the same four floral patterns, though the Catherine mesh has a knit overlay.

Two hairs using your v. 2 textures. I hope these haven't been done before! I did try and check! Female hair 15 by Azure/Cottonhouse (all ages) and a hybrid mesh by Yagi (teen to elder). Both meshes are included. Colours are dynamite, depth charge, molotov and incendiary, grey (mail bomb) linked to black.

Some full-face freckles. The three different shades are layerable so you can build them up a bit, but they are quite subtle. Under full-face makeup, all ages & both genders.

Left: Bara Brows, Right: Cater-Brows

Two sets of eyebrows - I find it useful to have a few brows that are placed higher/lower on the brow area, for Sims with unusual features, so that's where I went with these - they might not suit all Sims, but in my tests they were pretty versatile.

Swatch (http://i.imgur.com/BgNfKES.png)

Lastly, two new sets of eyes on AlfredAskew's sclera, "Mellow Eyes" and "Keen Eyes". In retrospect these might be too cartoon-y, but I hope you find some use for them! There are custom versions and geneticized/townified versions, but you can't use both.

DOWNLOAD ALL (https://www.mediafire.com/?fdi89r10foj3o6r)

Hope you enjoy and that you had a good July! (You can share if you like. :thanks: )

I think I've been hoarding this long enough, but here's my awesome gift from my amazing santa, starra! :)

Hey Hayley, happy Christmas in July! I'm your secret santa for the CiJ event this year~
I hope you like and can find some use for these gifts I made you! :3

First off, I read you wanted some pooklet'd male hairs so I retextured & recolored Raon 82 FtM in the naturals you requested (Dynamite, Depth Charge, Incendiary, Explosive) and in one unnatural, nuclear. (I didn't want to spam you with too many recolors T-T) Unfortunately I couldn't recolor any for elders because, this hair is only available for YM-thru-AM:

I also retextured Peggy's donation male hair #Mh080515 for toddler-thru-elders(Mail bomb) in the same naturals listed as above and in 3 unnaturals (Nuclear, hydrazine and flammable - I chose these based off what I've seen on your tumblr, hopefully they are the ones you like the most >_<)

Next up are the tattoos! Both are located on the face under the makeup > blushes category and are available for both genders:

A/N: This tattoo will deform if the sim's features (especially the cheeks bones) are altered dramatically - if that makes any sense. I had fun re-drawing this one from a reference ;v;

and then finally I made some cheek pores/blush makeup for both tan-to-dark and light skintones. Available for both genders under the makeup > blush section and are layerable with other blushes. 5 total tones included:

You can download everything right here (https://www.dropbox.com/s/r8i0dq5upzzpk86/%5Bstarra234%5D%20CiJ%202014%20-%20Hayley%27s%20gift%21.zip) and it's up to you if you would like to share them. I really enjoyed making these for you! Thank you for the fun ideas! :)

Oh and all the required hair meshes are included in the .zip for convenience. I think that's about it so I guess here is where I'll stop rambling. Have a good rest of your summer! <3

I am in awe of everyone's gifts, thank you to all who shared! :heartburp: Big thanks to the mods who worked on this event as well. It was so much fun, as always!

It's  here (https://www.dropbox.com/s/ktg7i06pqt4dv9j/kalynn_CIJ_for_theChangeling.zip). I accidentally moved the file soon after sending it and then reposted it.  I posted the revised link in this (http://gardenofshadows.org.uk/gardenofshadows/index.php?topic=31220.msg693919#msg693919) post, but I can't edit her original one, so it keeps getting lost.

Focalor, I have the make up/face tattoos part of my gift, will that help? As for the hairs, I've got them lying around somewhere, it just means sifting through a number of drives, unless someone else has it on hand.
