We're trying some new things with this GG challenge!
Instead of Maxis candidates, our lookin-for-love sims have some new hook-up choices:
   1. Morganess and Amalia have provided ten pretties as potential boyfriend/girlfriend material.
   2. The entire population of Tumbleton is also ready for romance.
   Download any or all of these cc-free sims to procreate with our new group of lonely sims.
Choose your favorite sim(s) as your final spawn. It doesn't have to be the prettiest, just the one you like the best.

This challenge ends Sunday December 18, 2022.

GoS rules apply.
Only the ten cc-free sims shared in the thread and Tumbleton sims can be used to breed.
No face default replacements.
No contact lenses, plastic surgery, eye color changes, or skintone changes.
Make-up, shaders, and accessories can be used.
Use a different sim per generation.
You may produce 3 children per generation but only one can be used to produce the next generation.
Please include pictures and the names of all the parents/gene donors.
Create a family tree similar to the template below with the names of all the parents/gene donors.
You may post up to three pictures of the result (Spawn 3).
You may use Insimenator or equivalent to speed up the process.
You can submit up to four entries as long as you don't repeat any sims; all four (twelve?) have to be different.
This is just for fun! No voting, everybody wins.

I'll be updating this main post during the challenge (creating an index of entries and posting answers to any new questions).
Also, and this is totally optional, please feel free to upload your sim(s). You can either link to the actual download with your entry here or link to your tumblr or wherever you've uploaded them. I'll add an asterisk * next to the entries that can be downloaded in the index.
Another optional thing: you can download an empty grid / template here.

I know Amalia and Morganess both have beautiful default replacement hairs and won't be expecting some of these Maxis styles on their lovely sims, hope it's not too cringey!

Yay, it's on!   You did great, I definitely don't mind seeing my simmies in a Maxis match style, it's refreshing to see them like that after countless years of semi-realistic graphics, and I'm interested in seeing them in other people's styles as well! Also, I love that we have an entire hood of sims to choose from as well, I can't wait to visit there and see all the residents in my game.

I plan on submitting offspring for all four and looking forward to it.
But there are only 10 Sims provided to use for that, where do I get the other 2 that I'll need?
I know I can't repeat a Sim. Can I use 2 of my customs?

Shaye, the Sims Community Project has lots of cc-free sims for Tumbleton. You can either install the inhabited neighborhood or just some of the sims. Please feel free to ask questions if you need any help

It has tons of gene donor simmies to choose from in addition to the ten showcased here, although sadly I found out some download links are dead and a lot of sims are missing preview pictures (I haven't had the time to look too deep into it, though, so there may be more links and previews somewhere). It's only human to miss a link or piece of text, don't worry about it. I hope you have fun with this one!

Really appreciate both of you taking the time to explain about the Sims in the Tumbleton hood.
Obviously I missed that. Plus I'd never heard of it before.

And yes, I plan on having fun in the Challenge and look forward to sharing their Offspring!

Ooh, I really like the twist of NOT using Maxis sims for this challenge.  I will definitely try and find some time to participate in this.

The first sim I tried was Pool Noodle! Having new sims to choose from for the spouses was pretty cool, Tumbleton's townies have lots of neat faces  

My final sim was Rank, who I like the face of a lot!
